The CNET and History Channel Plugins have not been updated in a very long time. When I go to Settings->Manage->Plugins and select the “x” to delete the plugin I receive the following popup message “Are you sure you want to uninstall this plugin?” When I select Yes, I receive the following message " This plugin could not be uninstalled.". How can I delete these useless plugins?
Where have you been? Plug-ins were deprecated a long time ago. If you installed these via the old Channels area, you’re now left having to resort manually deleting the .bundle files associated with the plugin located in the Plex server directory.
Delete the .bundle file, QUIT Plex Server. Then reopen Plex Server and the plugin should be gone from the server interface.
Yes, I can appreciate the “Where have you been?” thought. I had been meaning to remove the abandoned channels some time ago but it was not really in the way of me enjoying the rest of my Plex Libraries. Thank you for the guidance. I located the two files within the Plex->Library->Application Support->Media Server->Plug-Ins, deleted them and now the channels are gone. Thanks so much!
