I have noticed that for virtually all clients the developers, even those like for the Roku that have been EXTREMELY active, have virtually stopped posting or responding to threads or even addressing most bug reports.
I have been speculating that this “may” be due to a BIG push for new, rewritten, clients on many platforms.
I hope that is the case because the other alternatives are that Plex has directed them to shut up or they have become uninterested in Plex. Either of those possibilities seem unlikely but you never know.
I wonder what others think and if someone at Plex could enlighten us. (That last seems quite unlikely.)
I’m hoping you’re right, and maybe it’s because of the fact that they’re integrating the live TV stuff in the other clients. Hopefully somone from Plex will chime in but i reckon hell will freeze over before that.

I actually thought about that BUT it is unlikely that they all would vacate at the same time and many (some/most) do not live in Europe.
Many do live in Europe and it is the summer holiday season for all of the northern hemispere. That includes 'murika.
I don’t think it’s just limited to client developers, the entire team seem to be unresponsive on the forums these days as I’ve mentioned in other threads. I’ve missed the survey about paid ‘support’. I think as a Plex Pass member we’re already paying to support the product and we should get some in return, especially when we’re posting bugs which get little or no feedback or response.
All developers are concentrating on development in general and will not for the most part respond to threads directly.
As far as non-developers like myself I try to get to as many as I can . I try to respond to threads even if an app I am not an expert with just for the sake of making a GHI. Though generally will not respond to multiple threads discussing the same thing.
I’m have no doubt I have missed plenty obviously and hope to get better at it. will try to make sure a ninja or support staff try to respond to or make note of where issues have been discussed before if that is the case
regardless if you guys don’t feel listened to that is bad and will try to do better

Where’s that Plex for Kodi development then? The client is in an alpha state right now. Most of the time you can’t even quit out without getting stuck or switch users without a crash. Seems like you pulled the only developer for it to go work on PMP.

While I’m all for the developers concentrating on development (thrilled, in fact), without expanding staff to replace their participation in the forums, this trend seems counterproductive to the various assurances that Plex is committed to improving support.

The Plex for Kodi dev does not work on PMP at all and never has. Different apps have different hurdles of development and sometimes updates take a while
@BigWheel I appreciate that you are trying to respond to as many threads as you can, and this is in no way a criticism of you.
However, whether it is true or not, the impression I and others get is that there is no development and no support for the Windows Store client app, which is beset with problems which remain unresolved.
If you go to the forum for that app, you will see very many questions with zero responses.
My own question, from April 30th, remains unanswered by anyone from Plex - the only responses are from another customer with similar problems.
There are questions older than that with no responses.
Some of us wonder if @pombeirp is still employed by Plex, and if anyone is still developing or supporting the UWP app.
I’m sure you can see our frustration here. It would be helpful if Plex could make an official announcement to explain what is happening - on all platforms.

Yes I’m sure the making sure photos support years prior to 1970 is far more important that getting a client past alpha status…
Plex for Kodi needs work and it’s not getting any, quite clearly.
Can one of you please explain what’s going on with Plex for Kodi and with the windows UWP apps? And Roku? And PlayStation while we’re at it? And the MiBox? And the FireTV2?
At least Apple TV gets updates. The windows UWP app hasn’t seen an update since probably May and the Xbox one for over a year. The update might be useless and not fixing issues people have reported but at least th eupdates show that they’re working on it.
