Synology DS223 support preview
Regrettably was not aware the DS223 was released.
With this model now available for purchase, there were still incompatibilities with the existing Plex Media Server package installation.
This preview thread is the developer’s preview of what will soon be official Plex support for the DS223 and other RTD1619-based ARMv8 Synology products.
The version presented here is PMS 1.29.2.6364-7000.
This version was selected because its behavior is well defined in a wide variety of use cases.
The goal is to confirm proper operation with this version before releasing the newer, more demanding, versions of PMS.
