Is there any way to increase the timeout setting related to the message below?

Aug 02, 2021 00:43:57.023 [0x7f6a1d11db38] DEBUG - player pd6emgbmefi7vjwp1jrht7zv was not refreshed for over 30 seconds, dropping it.

I am trying to stream to a Chromecast device from PLEX, but it keeps getting dropped.

Using the “castnow” commandline chromecast player, I don’t have this issue, so I’m guessing it is a timeout issue.

so it is disconnecting before you get to select something to play?

No, it will play up to 3hrs of content, playback stops randomly and Chromecast returns to its home screen. The message above shows up in the Plex Server logs.

Any ideas? I am trying to use this as a cable-cutting alternative for my grandpa.

I need it to play his TV Shows non-stop without any interaction from him.

As far as I can tell, that should be possible with playlists and the “Repeat All” option.
