Plex has trouble casting to chromecast suddenly. After 4 years of working fine. Problem is present on 2 different chromecasts

I’ve tried everything. If I try casting repeatedly, eventually (up to 20 minutes later) it will work.

I’ve reset router, chromecast and the server computer.

I’ve tried multiple channels on 5 g. Switching to 2.4g.

Nothing changes much.

I JUST bought the lifetime pass. Kind of regret doing that now.

Having same issue. Plays for about 20 minutes then freezes up.

Player Version#: 8.29.0.30300

Had the lifetime pass for years but this is very unstable for the first time in years.
