Devices no longer connect to Plex server - HELP!

Server Version#: 4.156.0

I have used Plex for many years, no problems I could solve. This week I cant figure this problem out. All of a sudden my plex server was disconnecting from the Plex Server on a desktop PC. My iPhone, my firestick, apple TV would all disconnect from the Server and I can only see live TV on the Apps. This would happen intermittently, but now it wont connect at all.
I cannot see my libraries, only the generic Plex channels for TV etc. I use an Eero wifi system and have for years without problems.

Can anyone help? I spent hours trying to fix this and am at a loss.

Someone else reported similar problems - which might be a coincidence - and they definitely are having some of their own network related issues it seems but could be related. At the very least some of the troubleshooting advice there may apply here to get you started so might start there.

Server logs will definitely be a big help.

These are my server logs

I would be tempted to check and recheck your Library Paths. Or as a Test, Create a New Library to illuminate a possible problem. This can be a duplicate TV Show or Movie Library that can be deleted later.

On windows this will appear sightly different for paths

I see my libraries on the PC where my Plex Server is. My problem is that on all other devices (Fire Stick, iPhone, etc), my libraries dont show up. I only see the Live TV portion of Plex. My account is signed in, but no libraries.

You have power cycled your devices and gone to Settings/ Advanced/Reset Cache?

Also check your Server LAN IP to your devices network settings. I find it helpful to reserve the Server’s LAN IP in router. RESTART

When you go to app.plex.tv in a browser on your network, not your local server ip, is it fully accessible?

If your secure connections are set to required in the plex network settings, change it to preferred.

Are you able to change the DNS servers on your router? If so, change them to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1. If you can’t change it on the router, change it on each device directly. This is to rule out any DNS rebind issues.

No, it’s the same as when I go onto the devices like Firestick, the yellow triangles where my libraries usually are. That must mean something, but I dont know what.

secure connection is on preferred

I changed my DNS on my router to 8.8.8.8 but still the same issue.

Thanks, I’m now watching that thread too.

Your server is not connected to the network.

Check the network settings, Ethernet cables, etc.

So weird, my desktop is showing in my eero app and online, and other devices are connected to it, but somehow the Plex server on the same desktop computer is not connected. I am at a loss.

Firewall software issue perhaps?

I dont think so, I turned off the firewall in a test and nothing changed.

Right click on the Plex icon in the menu bar and configure Plex to NOT run at startup.

Reboot the PC.

Login, wait for Windows to fully start.

Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Properties.

In the Properties section, you should see an IPv4 address and IPv4 DNS servers. If not, there’s a problem.

If there is an IPv4 address, then start Plex Media Server, wait two - three minutes for it to start, then try to access the server and see what happens.

I posted this on another Thread, but wanted to say it here too:
Thank you guys. I ended up ripping apart my wired network in my office and I found the issue. I was using an old Asus router as a switch (It has an internal setting to do so) , but somehow (And I haven’t touched it in years) it reset itself to a router and created a separate network for my desktop. I have no idea how it happened, and I disconnected it and everything seems fine now. (I have to buy another switch for some devices now.)

Again, thank you all!
