I have a Plex server and give access to two friends. One who lives with me (and is on my Plex home) and one remote.
This setup has worked perfectly for a couple of years, until a couple of weeks ago, and now Plex keeps removing their access to my libraries. I go to the settings and go through the Grant Library Access steps and that works for a few hours, but then their access is removed without any of us doing anything.
Sometimes (not always) when I go to re-grant access, I get the message “You don’t have any connected servers” on the Grant Library Access screen. That’s not true, as I’m still connected to my server and can stream just fine on my account.
I’ve tried restarting my server and run DB Repair. I’ve granted access through the web app and also on the server itself, still breaks after a few hours both ways.
I’m learning as I go with all this so any easy to follow advice would be great, thanks!
Nobody able to help with this? I’ve tried so many things I’ve seen online but nothing is fixing it.
I was responding to you over on Reddit…hope someone can help you.
Just took a quick look at the logs…Something is causing your server to keep disconnecting, this error keeps popping up over and over, any network issues? VPN? Firewalls?
“MyPlex: We appear to have lost Internet connectivity, resetting device URL cache.”
Oh hi, thanks for responding again.
That’s interesting, no network issues that I’ve noticed on any other devices. Don’t have a VPN or firewall set up on the server. It’s set up one floor up, directly above the modem so not far away enough that signal would be weak. I’ll consider setting up an ethernet connection if nobody else is able to help.

Looks like you have some sort 2nd network connection. PMS doesn’t work well when there are 2 connections.
Ok I’ve done some investigating and looks like bridge100 could be created by Docker (which I only used for Overseerr). I’ve set en0 as the preferred network interface in the PMS settings, fingers crossed that helps.
Thank you!
Are you usually keeping browser tabs open and re-use them even after days?
Or do you use so many browser tabs, that you sometimes open a website (or in this case, the Plex web app) twice or more times inadvertently?
I recommend you to always close the web app cleanly. This ensures that the next session in Plex Web is not working with stale data.
Do you open the plex web app with a bookmark, or do you rely on the auto-complete/-suggestion of your web browser?
If the former, verify that the bookmark only consists of https://app.plex.tv, without any additional folders or parameters attached.
It definitely helps if you instruct your web browser to not delete the cookies of plex.tv when it’s closed.
