I am new to whole Plex arena, so I apologize if this is a stupid problem - but I am pulling out what little hair I have left…
I have very carefully organized some TV Shows as instructed per the Plex guidelines. To provide very specific examples, I have:
TV Shows / Manifest / Season 1 / Manifest - S01E12.mkv
TV Shows / Westworld / Season 1 / Westworld - S01E09.mkv
TV Shows / Westworld / Season 1 / Westworld - S01E10.mp4
I would expect that I went into the PlexApp and clicked on TV Shows, I would see options for Shows - so I would get a button for Manifest and a separate button for Westworld. But I don’t get that - I just get a single button that says “Tv Shows, 1 season”.
If I click on that button, I find another single button called “Season 1, 3 episodes”
If I click on that button, I see all three episodes right next to each other - S01E09, S01E10, and S01E12. BUT - two of those are Westworld, and one is Manifest. AND - all of them have Westworld thumbnails. No amount of Refresh Metadata fixes this…
I thought the whole point of organizing the data into folders per the TVDB naming convention was to separate the shows into… well… shows. But all of my Season 1 files - regardless of what show they come from - are all getting mushed into a single icon…???
I would expect a hierarchy like: TV Shows --> Shows --> Seasons --> Episodes
BUT - what I am getting is: TV Shows --> Seasons --> Episodes (regardless of show…)
I have searched the forum, and I have danced the PlexDance more times than I can count - no joy.
Any help with this? Please?!?
