I may have a dumb question…the xbox tunner is on the list for working but can I use is on my Xbox or do I need to use it on a windows PC?? I can’t get it to auto find the device and when I put the IP of the Xbox it doesn’t find anything.
You should first download the proper drivers for the tuner from Hauppauge, on your PC.
I just need the driver installed on the PC with Plex I don’t need to connect the tuner to the PC at all?
The tuner needs to be in the device that your plex server is installed on.
Oh I made an assumption that since it was an Xbox tuner it would work on the Xbox and pass along the network like the HDHomerun would well this is a bummer
