I have recently started using PLEX and i love it but before i was using iTunes to manage my media on my PC and Apple TV. I like the way the iTunes handles covers for the TV shows instead of being rectangular like the movie posters there square more like music cover art. I use iTunes Artwork Finder to find covers for TV shows in my library, but when I upload the cover art to PLEX it stretches and crops it to the movie poster format. My question is is there anything i can do on my end to modify this so my cover art will work correctly? I know they use square covers when you upload music.
There is no way to make posters for tv shows into squares.
Well, you could take a square image and pad the top and/or bottom to make it poster size.
