Make sure you have the latest version. Version 1.4 was released yesterday (Announcement). Uninstall, install current version, then reboot, instead of installing over existing version (since it isn’t working correctly for you).
Alternately, try Plex Media Player, Plex Media Player download info. It is an older Windows/Mac client, but is still supported.
You can have both Plex for Windows/Mac and Plex Media Player installed at the same time on your PC. They install to different locations.
