I have found out about plex a week ago and realy love it.
Today I copied my series to it.
but now I’m struggling with something.
there is these show in TV series it’s called home movies.It’s a child show and it’s not on my hard drive and I can’t delete it through the browser.Also,when I organise my directorys like this:
Media/TV series/American horror story/season 09
Than the serie gets the name ‘TV series’ only if I place the serie in media folder without the TV series folder its named properly.
Can someone help me with these 2 problems please?
For TV series, make sure you are using a TV Shows library, not Movies, Music, etc. Also, the library must be pointed at the TV series directory, not at Media.
For your example, the naming & organization will look like this:
/Media
/TV series <-- TV Show library points here
/American Horror Story
/Season 09
/American Horror Story - s09e01.ext <-- .mkv, .mp4, etc.
Look at the Get Info for one of the episodes (not the show or season). It will show you the location of the file.

I checked again and this is how it looks:
Media/TV series/American horror story/season 09.
But stil the name is ‘TV series’ instead of American horror story.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
It is as I showed.
I realy don’t get it.
Edited manually.
But I think this isn’t ment to be.
I will see when adding another serie
