it would be really nice to be able to turn off hardware acceleration for optimized version to maintain video quality and still be able to allow the system to transcode streams with hardware support.
a check box in transcode setting would be great
That would be awesome. I need hw transcoding on the fly but sometimes it generates blocky images so when i do have time to wait i would like to optimize my medias with software encoding. +1
I have the same problem. I need hw transcoding for some types of video. VLC app works well if I disable hw acceleration on my device. It would be great if Plex could disable it too.
