Disable Plex.Direct Redirection

I have my own SSL certs that I am utilizing. Currently, when I browse to my Plex server on the internal network, it is pulling the cert from *.string.plex.direct. I would like to entirely disable this feature as I don’t need Plex holding my hand with regards to the server certificates. How can I prevent this behavior? I have blocked all DNS queries to *.plex.direct, defined plex.direct in the hosts file, both of which have not helped resolve this issue.

I’ve just installed version 1.11.2.4772-3e88ad3ba on CentOS 7.4.

I don’t think there is a way to disable it but it should not be used if you are setting your own discovery URL. I personally have remote access turned off and relaying everything though my web proxy so there is no way the direct URL would work from outside my network.
