Is there an option to disable Plexamp from auto-playing when a bluetooth device connects? I have checked both the in-app options and the Android app options and cannot find one, but I might simply be thick.
Specifically I would like to be able to manually start playback in the car instead of automatically and always resuming from a pause or even a force-stopped app.
I feel like that’s an Android setting that exists, but I could be mistaken.
Other media players (like Youtube Music and Google Play [RIP]) have an “allow external devices to start playback” option in the app but I have not found one for Plexamp.
The car is sending a Play command; Plexamp isn’t automatically starting just because of the connection.
My car does another infuriating thing: changing the volume, even lowering it, also sends a Play command to the connected BT device.
I use an app called Bluetooth Volume that maxes volume depending on the connected device.
