TVDB, IMDB, and Movie Database are all fairly accurate most of the time, but for those of us who’ve already meticulously edited the metadata and chapter markers, etc. in our MP4 containers, is there ANY way to stop the Plex agents from pulling metadata from outside sources completely? Even with certain agents disabled and Local Media Assets moved to the top, Plex still adds its own downloaded metadata from public databases. Thanks for any input! 
In the Add Library dialog box select OTHER VIDEOS, not MOVIES. Give it a meaningful name, select NEXT and add the media folder(s) you want to put in the library. To create the library select ADD LIBRARY.
That should work, and it is also much, much faster than creating a movie library!
