This is the second time this has happened, where a playlist has (in this case) virtually disappeared. There are two items left in the playlist that previously contained 50+ items. The last time this happened (different playlist), the playlist itself remained but there was nothing in it. Having playlists disappear completely defeats the purpose of having them since it’s virtually impossible to recreate them without a lot of work. It’s not possible to determine when the playlist got emptied, as this is one that’s less played (now won’t be played at all), so I cannot tell whether this happened before or after the last update.
I’m on version 1.7.3.3937 on Mac OS El Capitan
There has to be someplace where playlists are stored as a file(s) that can be backed up or restored I would presume. Maybe not this time, but might help in the future if something disappears once again.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
