Disc ID and Titel in Multi Disc Album / Box Set

Hi All,

I have several Box Set’s like “The complete Studio Recordings”…

In my Library (plex Pass) I can only see all tracks, the numbering rebegins severall times from 1 but the discs aren’t separeted.
Please separate the discs and add their title (DISCSUBTITLE in vorbis)

This would be great, and very easy to implement I think. Cmon guys let’s vote for this feature!

+1 for displaying DISCSUBTITLE where available in preference to Part.

2022 clean-up:

  • disc grouping/labels are supported-> implemented
  • addition of custom disc labels has already been suggested in a thread with more votes → duplicate
    Non-numerical labels for discs
