The Discover Beta works great from a windows machine but does not work on Amazon Cube or Roku. When you open Discover and pick a movie, it lists all the different apps but when you click on it, it says “linking directly to other apps is currently unavailable”. Does anyone have an answer for this issue?
Roku and Amazon won’t allow apps to open another. We originally had them that way, but they will not approve the apps.
Thank you for your help but I’ve been through all this and still no luck. I’ve tried this on ever TV, Amazon Fire Stick and Amazon Cube in my house and I get the same message everywhere. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
It won’t work on any Amazon device. As I mentioned Amazon will not approve the app if we include that functionality in it. I linked the article because it notes that all the apps with asterisks cannot open/link to other apps
