I had a prompt for a new Discovery feature, about services like Netflix, Prime Video and others. I dismissed it by error and now I can not find it anywhere in the app.
You cannot dismiss this feature (to the annoyance of some). What you saw was a mere notification about the feature having been added.
Make sure to use the hosted version of the Plex Web app (https://app.plex.tv/desktop) or otherwise one of the latest updated clients. This should give you the Discover section in the sidebar (and Where else to watch search results).
Thank you. I was not aware there were differences between the Hosted Web app and the local web app.
The bundled version is installed with your local server and can therefore only be updated alongside a server update. The hosted web app however will be regularly updated and is always the latest available version. Usually you only need to use the bundled version if you need to setup the server or re-claim it after it having been signed out.
Showtime Anytime is not an available app but Showtime is. Problem is they are not the same or at least not by subscription. I have my Showtime in Uverse and so to use Showtime app I have to use Showtime Anytime. Can this be added or can someone point me to where I can request it?
