Plex should be able to see 2 part eppisodes so if an file contains 2 eppisodes it would display in plex as eppisode 6-7 instead of 6 and skip to 8 and thinking I missed an eppisode. An example is survivor season 42 eppisode 6 and 7 or star trek voyager S1e01 and e02 I have episodes names s01e01-e02. I am running on unraid.
Plex supports this, if your file is named appropriately..
https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/#toc-5
I wouldn’t recommend doing it for various reasons, but the option is there.
It’s not working I have the files names s01e01-e02
The best example I can show is from my library. For the series Battlestar Galactica (2003), I have season 1, episodes 1 and 2 in a single file. They are organized as:
TV
└── Battlestar Galactica (2003)
├── Season 01
│ ├── Battlestar Galactica - S01E01-E02 - Miniseries.mkv
│ ├── Battlestar Galactica - S01E03 - 33.mkv
│ ├── Battlestar Galactica - S01E04 - Water.mkv
This is the result in my library:
So it displays the single file as two separate episodes.
I have it named exactly like the first battle star Galactica example
Please show a screenshot or tree output of your exact naming and folder organization (the above is the output of tree from my server). A screenshot of what Plex shows would also be helpful.
