Disturbing jitter lines at the bottom of the screen when streaming to Android Plex app on my Sony Android AF8 TV

When streaming (from my PC/Plex Server) to my Sony TV (AF8 4K) I get in some videos an annoying colorful jitter line at the bottom which is very disturbing noise. I do not get it for example if I use the built-in Sony app Movies (still streaming from the Plex Server). This led me to believe that it is the Plex Payer on android at fault but I’ve read elsewhere it may actually be the TV’s decoder fault and not the Plex players fault. Can anyone advise definitely if it is Sony’s fault or the player’s fault?
