I’m getting these artifacts at the bottom of my playback on my Sony TV, and only in Plex. There are no issues in VLC. I thought it was a problem with the files, but they play fine in VLC and on my phone and Shield TV.
They seem to occur at any time, not always in all movies, but frequently enough in many videos that they get annoying. I just happened to take the attached photos during the credits.
They have been happening for as long as I’ve owned the TV, and the last TV firmware update (last week) did nothing to fix them.
What’s going on here?
