yes, no more xml files in /tmp, thanks for the update.
now RAM usage is pretty high, but i ll keep looking and point out in case it aint get better.
Hi again, is it possible that its loaded now into RAM ?
i see heavy RAM Usage here with uptime … 2 days now and 5.6 gigs RAM …
after i restart plex its down to 600 - 800mb, increasing steady …
what could help pin this down, is
What i am after is to capture logs during a period of time when the memory usage climbs
Attach the logs zips and snapshots and time of each snapshot
ok, started yesterday evening, after full start it was ~ 800mb RAM usage, 24 hours later now 2.4 GB
attached the logs with enabled detailed debug
another few hours later now, went up to 3.2 gigs
logs attached
Thanks for the logs - forum user @millerim has shared the script he used for capturing memory usage every minute and recording the time to 1 second accuracy . Could you look into adapting this for your setup.

Run a script like it after restarting the server and finding the PID for the plex media server process
Download server logs periodically - say twice or three times a day
Once you reach high memory usage levels and the memory stays high, then capture logs and attach the memory snapshots text file ( please make sure date and time shows time including seconds ) and all the saved zipped server logs and the latest zipped logs
I have got a an amendment to the script to make sure it writes to a file

i gave up for now, latest update has insane disk load and also cpu load …
waited a few hours now and doesnt quit, so i stopped my plex docker now
1.15.3.835
just as note, i wait now a while till there are some updates …
fro inside docker see atachement, i guess the mediascanner is nuts …
Hi, may any news when this RAM bug with xmltv file parsing be sorted …
meanwhile insane how much RAM is used by Plex …
and i can confirm as described in the other thread its related to xml epg usage, using PMS EPG Ram stays normal …
here after 36 hours uptime, before i had default EPG running there where no issues,
and Plex is NOT used actually, just idle and grab some metadata and its epg …
not used for any playback etc.
and now a little later … 6 gigs
Will try and find out. It is still being looked into by development
thanks for the info, for now i ll make a cron job to restart docker once a day cause its more and more …
