Hi. I have Plex on my Xbox one. When playing from home with my server (PC) and Xbox on the same router, is it playing locally or streaming over the Internet.

Locally. It checks in with plex.tv since it needs Plex Pass to work but then it is all internal.
Note that means you need an internet connection to use the XBox One with Plex but all streaming is internal.
Should be local. You can look at server logs for requests like this while you are playing something to confirm. if it is coming from the local ip of XB1 then its local
