Sort of a newbie question but unable to get a definite answer. Does the movies stream locally from my plex server to my Xbox one? I have very small usage caps and hate for everything to be streamed halfway around the world to get from one room in my house to another. Also is there a way to view movies by category on the Xbox one? or do I have to shuffle through the huge amounts of files to see what I want to watch?
Yes, if both Plex server and Xbox one are in the same network the video data is just streamed locally. No need to worry.
