I was thinking of starting a new server but I am worried I will lose my episodes watched, Do they sync because of your user and say watched on another server. If not this is a great feature to add!!

if you are using the newer media agents and had Watch State Syncing enabled on old server then when you start up new server it will sync down the same watch states. but only for complete watches. https://support.plex.tv/articles/sync-watch-state-and-ratings/
You can also manually copy over the view state from your server database from one sever to the next assuming again that all media is matched with the same agents. @BigWheel, thank you for this answer, I was able to search the forum and find my answer right away. I was noticing that watch state only was syncing what was completely watched. Do you know if watch state for partially watched shows will be something that comes later?
It only does completely watched things from your server intentionally. The reason is that if we synced partially watched things from server we would able to figure out what is on your server if we looked into it and we don’t want to have the possibility of knowing that.

Thanks! I missed the green tip item. I appreciate it, it isn’t a big deal. I’m transitioning servers and I’ll just have to finish watching the shows that are partial. It is only a couple, so not a problem at all.
