Does playlists remove PLEX content

Plex newbie of sorts here.

Quick question.

I am wondering if the creation and deletion of playlists actually removes content from server.

I shared my library with my sister and brother and they have created playlists on their accounts.
Now stuff is going missing from my main account and im wondering if this is down to them deleting the content from the playlists they created.
Otherwise i ams tunled as to why stufd randomly goes missing.

I use playlists for music and no, deleting from a playlist should not remove the item from the system just from the playlist.

Im stumped then as to why stuff is going missing

Logs might have some traces of why.

Also under Setttings --> Library there is an option to allow media deletion which you can disable so users cant delete media.

im wondering if i done the setup wrong
i have my own main account and then set up a 2nd accoint which i shared my content to for my sister and brother and pinned there devices to that (as didnt want them ising my 4k content :joy:)

i was thinking (wrong it seems) that they were the cause of stuff been deleted when they deleted their playlists
