Does Plex Android stop supporting external player?

Server Version#:
Player Version#:8.15.2.24006
Hi, I try to playback my videos in my home LAN (say the server ip is 192.168.0.112). If use the internal built-in player, erverything goes fine, but if use external one like mx player or kmp player, it fails. The dialog says the link can’t be played.
The link it try to connect is like the screen shot below.
So, is it a bug or a feature?

There was something in your screenshot you shouldn’t share so I removed it. Using an external player is working for me so I’m not sure why it doesn’t work for you. Going to need more details.

Well, fine. I checked the link it passed to external player, it’s like “https://192-168-0-112.alde924d70354ced8570642e09dfb64b.plex.direct:32400/xxxxx”.
I typed this link in my browser and it return ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
Then I pinged plex.direct and it showed the ip behind is localhost(127.0.0.1)

Can you PM me the full path? That 192 address is how the client makes a secure connection to your server. That’s expected.

I disable the secure connection, so that I can play it with external player. There is something wrong with the server discovery. Since it works now, I don’t want to go deeper.
Anyway, thanks!
