And if so, can we get that information displayed in place of TrueHD/DTS-HD? It would be nice to be able to easily differentiate these movies from my TrueHD/DTS-HD movies.
When you navigate to the move that has that (Dolby Atmos or DTS-X), you can see if Plex selects it. The option will be in orage and you can change it. (I forget what it is called at the moment.)

I’m familiar with how to change audio tracks. I am asking if we can get them to display properly for object based audio. Right now, it looks like this:
Where it says “TrueHD 7.1”, I would like it to read “Dolby Atmos” or something to that effect. Or at least under the portrait where it says “Dolby TrueHD” that should read “Dolby Atmos”
@Andrroid Yeah, I was trying to get that Screenshot for you. If Plex can do that, I’m not sure. As of right now, I don’t believe it can. Try seeing/creating a feature request for this to me implemented into Plex.
Are you sure you’re actually playing the 7.1 Atmos?
Not many Plex Client Devices support it at this time, I think only 1 Nividia Shield.
You can look under Status->Now Playing (click the “i”) to see..
Well, Maybe NUC as a passthrough, too.
but if you’re on an XBOX or Roku or a TV App, its unlikely, I don’t even this it will play in PMP on your computer

I have a Shield TV, it passes TrueHD and DTS-HD through just fine and subsequently the object based versions, Atmos and DTS-X. Full direct play to Shield TV.
