Does Plex modify local music folder/files?

Hi, certainly a very basic question, but I couldn’t find enough info in the help files:
Will Plex modify any files/folders of my music library on my local PC? I have it well organized and tagged, and don’t want Plex to touch this at all. Not even add missing images.

I want to use Plex to replace Google Play Music, i.e. an online version of my library to use in my car etc…

Plex is strictly not touching your media files. Unless you use the ‘Delete Media’ feature…
