Dear Plex Forum,
Since few days, my Plex Server is not able to add new files (movies or TV Shows). I can’t even edit an existing movie.
I don’t think it’s a permission issue, as you can see on this screenshot, the file added on the September 11 is showing in my Plex Server. but not the others added on the September 14.
It’s just one example, but many new files are not added.
Any help is welcome

To prevent this from happening again in the future, make sure to always cleanly shut down the machine/the container.
Hard reset and power cuts are poison for the database.
Hi @OttoKerner , I still have the issue, unfortunately. Files are not detected automatically any more, I’ve to do a “repair” with PlexDBRepair everyday to add the new files. any idea why ?
I am not a Linux expert.
Maybe it has something to do with Increase the number of directories Linux can monitor (Notify)
Not sure if it’s linked to my issue as I’ve “only” 6183 folders
