Yeah. This is the supported format. There used to be a thread on Atmos support with Plex player on iOS/tvOS plus spatial audio. It was hit or miss back then and it’s been a while. let me see if I can find it.
Historically support for HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos has been challenging for a Plex and a lot of work is going on into getting it sorted now. If you’re interested you can join the beta for testing.
This one here. Just to be clear on something else, transcoding of Atmos means you’ll lose the Atmos track regardless if that’s important to your issue, my assumption was you’re actually trying to get the Atmos tracks to pass through.
honestly, just want sound. Atmos support would just be a bonus. I have a Shield to use with my home theatre setup.
