I’m using Plex Server and Nvidia Shield TV Pro’s for a long time. Currently facing the problem I cannot play my Dolby Vision material on all my TV’s/Shield combination as I have 1080p TV’s but also 4K non DV but also with DV. Mixing these is now a pain as Plex cannot transcode this.
Is this because of a license fee for DV? As a lifetime pass member I would like to buy this to have this feature.
Plex is for me watching my content on all devices, love transcode ! But now it isn’t doing this for me.
Seeing issues since 2019 this will never be tackled?
What are my hopes?
