Dolby Vision doesn't work in MKV container on LG C9 Oled

While Dolby Vision videos in MP4 all work fine - Web rips using Profile 5 in single video stream as well as 07.06 EL+RPU dual video stream. None of the MKVs, including the test suite from the list below trigger dolby vision:

P4 LG Dolby trailer video is SDR
P5 Dolby Amaze triggers as Dolby Atmos, video is SDR
P7 FEL GIjoe the Rise of Cobra is HDR10
P7 MEL GIjoe the Rise of Cobra is HDR10
P8 Glass blowing triggers Dolby Atmos, video is HDR10

Is this something that could be adressed in the later releases? Any information I can provide/test to help you with development?
