Playing single layer DV on LG Plex app

I can’t get Dolby Vision to trigger with a profile 8 mkv. It’s a 2020 CX OLED. I’m going to assume that it’s an OS limitation and LG haven’t updated it to support a more recent mkv spec.

Is there any way to get Plex to remux it to mp4 and direct stream it to get DV to trigger?
I tried choosing the TrueHD audio stream to force audio transcoding and remuxing but it didn’t work - I imagine it was muxed back to mkv.

Here is the mediainfo if it matters, it should be profile 8 and HDR base layer.
Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, Blu-ray compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible
