Dolby Vision is being played as HDR10

Server Version#: 4.132.2
Player Version#: latest

I’m running the latest version of the Plex server and the Plex Roku app, and using an LG televsion that supports Dolby Vision. I can play Dolby Vision media fine when it’s Netflix or other streamers. But any Dolby Vision file I play with Plex gives me HDR10 video instead. How do I fix this?

I should note that I have the Dolby Access app installed from the Windows store – if this is interfering I have no problem getting rid of it.

what profile version is the DV content you are trying to play?

The only ones that my system doesn’t choke on due to their high bitrates (?) are 8.1. But no matter the bitarte, the ones that are 7.6 all play on my desktop with VLC. (So do the 8.1’s.)

I’m encountering this same issue on multiple Roku Plus Series 65 TVs, but for all Dolby Vision files via Plex, no matter the DV profile version. Tried 5, 7, and 8, none work (7 and 8 fallback to HDR, 5 plays but colors are off). Confirmed DV working via Netflix app, have yet to try the files in another app on the same TVs or a different streaming device. Confirmed files work properly via Shield on a Sony TV.
