Exactly, Plex supports Dual Layer In capable TVs and there is no reason why they wouldn’t on the Shield. I believe this question is more suited for the nvidia forums, in my mind, as a shield owner since day one in 2015 I have read many threads that the shield video decoder can not overlay 2 streams…

P.s. there are no problems with DVDfab single layer DV files at 60fps, anybody having problems should check their settings on Shield and tv as well as their signal path. Remember the shield doesn’t default to 60fps playback, refresh rate app is your friend.
