DTS-HD works fine in mp4 as per the guide on mrmmc. Dolby vision will not work in a mkv.

It’s not mp4box, it’s how the new version of ffmpeg extracts TrueHD audio. You should first try to read all the past links (the mrmc forum, the makemkv one… etc) so you can get more context.
