Double episodes (in one file) generate TWO entries in Plex

Hi,

Working for seven months or so with Plex on Windows 10 64-bit. However, I am still having some issues I am not able to solve for now. Sorry for my English.

Adding a file with two episodes in it (by using e. g. S03E01-E02 …), generates two entries on Plex.

First one is with the title of the first episode and second one with the title of the second episode.

Both showing the same image and both showing the same video file at click on thumb.

Clicking on second episode results in showing first episode first as same file is called.

Useful would be that a double episode generates only one entry with both titles, right?

Do you know a way to show it that way?

There’s currently no way to do that within Plex. This has been discussed in a feature suggestion though

Display single file multi episode shows in a single item

a way to have Plex display single file multi episode shows in a single item, ex: episode name, Episode 1-2, instead of duplicating it in the display and playing the full file twice. Instead of having to split the files, or only having one of the episodes in the file name, making it seem like im missing something. also: ability to show multi part movies in a way that makes sense, like part 1 and 2 under the same Title, instead of showing it as if there was a duplicate movie.
