I am having an issue setting up Remote Access on my Plex server on my Synology NAS. I am using an Orbi mesh router. When I set up Plex on my iMac, remote access works fine when I open the port associated with the IP address of the iMac. But when I try to do the same on the NAS, I get a double NAT error. I only have 1 router in the house, so not sure what is going on. The NAS is hooked up to the router via ethernet.
Any ideas?
Is the public IP address displayed in the Plex Remote Access settings the same one you get when checking your router?
Yes, they are both 192.168.1.4:32400
That’s the private IP…
And please don’t post the public one 
Another note - when I enable the remote access, it shows Fully Accessible for a second or two then it switches to Not available outside your network.
Yes, just checked and the public IP is the same as the router
Have you checked if the remote access is really broken/disconnected or if this is only the status indicator in Plex Web being off?
Can you play a video through Plex while you’re outside your home network?
No, I can’t even access the server which Plex is hosted on. It is just grayed out and says not available.
