I have created a category Audiobooks, in it are MP3 files. I want to download them with my iPhone to listen to the audiobooks offline. Unfortunately, this almost never works.
There are always errors and sometimes I even have to let the phone run overnight, so that the MP3 are stored on the iPhone at all. I have also converted the MP3’s to WAV and then back to MP3. Why does this not work. What could I try to make this work! Unfortunately this is really not a pain!
Could I suggest that you consider using https://prologue.audio for AudioBook downloads and playback. Very small cost, and is a really good app.
I’ve had to find workarounds for downloads for audio and video content as Plex apps just don’t get the job done.
