Download media on Chromecast with Google TV with USB Stick

Hi,

I purchased a Plex Lifetime Pass with the main purpose to download some of my media when we’re on the road with our camper.

I could download some TV shows when parked near our house before we leave.
I have a USB-C hub connected with a USB stick so my Chromecast with Google TV is powered and has external storage through a USB-C PD port so technically it can work.

I can’t seem to find the download option from the menu though.
Am I missing something or has the feature not been activated for this device?
If so, is this planned?

Plex Documentation → Downloads for Offline Use

Downloading is supported only on mobile devices and Plex Desktop for Linux / Mac / Windows.

I think I made the assumption that the version on my Chromecast was also considered mobile.

Arevthere any plans to also allow this feature on Chromecast with Google TV?
Especially since the new Google streamer is released which has a bit more (32GB) internal space.

Plex has not mentioned any such plans.
