Unless both your Plex accounts were created before 01 Aug 2022, then your friend also needs a Plex Pass.
You could also invite them into your Plex Home.
EDIT: A note that the Plex Home is intended for people that live in the same household. Please review the Plex Home docs. You will need to take precautions such as adding PIN protection, to prevent others from switching to your account.
