I use and manipulate a manual music playlist within Plex. Some days ago I did install Plexamp on my Android tablet and did download this playlist. So far so good.
After adding new tracks to this playlist within Plex I tried to refresh this playlist in Plexamp on my tablet. Whatever I do it still stays on the old count of tracks.
Now I did install Plexamp on my Android smartphone and did download the playlist there. It did download the new count of tracks.
After adding new tracks to the playlist within Plex I tried again to refresh the downloads on both devices. No luck.
Currently I see three different counts of tracks on three devices for the same playlist.
Keep in mind Plexamp doesn’t usually download entire playlists/albums/stations/… but a certain selectable duration. Can you verify the duration of the complete playlist fits into the duration “slice” you downloaded?
If I end up with three different count of files on three devices, I think the overall size or duration is not the limiting factor here.
What I did in Plexamp: Goto to the playlist, click on the three dots, click download. It does download, but it does not act on changes to this playlist. Is this the reason it was renamed from Sync to Download in the Plex universe? And if this was the reason, how can I download the new tracks? There is no download option on these individual tracks.
