I created two smart playlists. One on the web and one on the phone. They use the same rules and the only difference is the one on the phone was created from the album view while the web one was created from the track view.
The phone playlist that was created from the album view doesn’t automatically refresh. When I play songs the playlist gets updated and the played songs are removed, but they still stay downloaded to the phone. I have to manually click on the refresh option, which causes the entire playlist to download again.
The web playlist works as expected, downloading new songs to replace the ones that are no longer on the playlist.
I Have a similar issue in that I have 9 smart playlists downloaded to my phone, each limited to 100 tracks. when I open the app and go to the download section, I get the gear icon in the album art but the download does not begin the download process. If I manually click on the 3 dots to the right of the playlist and choose refresh, the playlist replaces all 100 tracks with 100 new ones. I have to do this manually across all 9 playlists, and download refresh is enabled.
@OttoKerner Why did you change my tags? The playlists change on the Plex server. They just don’t update the downloads. That indicates to me it’s a problem with the sync and not the playlists themselves.
