I’ve got Tailscale setup with subnets and exit node. I have a Plex pass (not that it should matter).
It works as you would expect and can access library and stream. The only problem is downloads don’t work. I need this for downloading new shows when I don’t always have wifi access.
anyone have any ideas?
(I believe downloads may work from other wifi networks but it doesn’t on 5G)
Please provide Plex Media Server version (1.42.2, etc.), which clients you are using and their versions, so others can try to replicate.
Plex server is 1.41.5.9626.72009626 (it’s on a synology ds224+ nas, updates are slow and I have haven’t done a manual update, which I might try now you mention it, although I plan to move it to docker when I find time).
Plex client is latest (as of 15-Dec) on iOS.
Tailscale server is 1.58.2-1
Tailscale client is 1.90.9 (iOS app)
