I've made plugins for streaming from TV2 and DR. These are danish TV channels, and I am not sure if it will work with foreign ip addresses.
[TV2 plugin](http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/TV_2_Video): I am only able to stream from video.tv2.dk as their main tv on-demand service (Sputnik) is not free, and as far as I know, doesnt work with mplayer/Plex.
[DR plugin](http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/DR): Again I am limited, because DR have choosen a format which doesnt work in mplayer/Plex. However they have Podcasts of a lot of their shows (both video and radio), so I have made them available in the plugin. They are also working on a new streaming format (h264), but this is beta and have quite a few problems. I have made their beta live streams available. I am working on their beta on-demand tv, but a lot of info is missing about the shows.
I will definitely take these for a spin over the weekend. I'll let you know if they work outside of DK. Know of any decent VPN/proxy services in DK I could use?

Messed around with VLC / streaming export - with the DR h264 feed myself (and then watching in Plex). It worked quite allright. But this sounds even better!
Strange. Do you have a danish ip address? The buffering takes some time, but you should be seing the buffering progress bar.
Did you get the streams to work through VLC?
Dont know of any danish VPN/proxy services.. If you have family in Denmark you could probably get them to set one up for you :)

Version 0.2 is out. Added support for Bonanza. A lot of old cool stuff there. There are still some things missing in the Bonanza part, like you can only see the first 50 video items, æøå characters are borked, and a search function is much needed. Like you say there are some issues with character conversion and indeed it seems only the first 50 videos in a given category are listed. But this is a great start and I've enjoyed some of the older shows today. I believe the criterium to get added to Bonanza is that it must be 6+ years old.
Is it perhaps possible to do some auto-filtering so all episodes of a show are in a separate category under the main category?
Anyway: Great, great work :) Perhaps a name change is in order? It's far more than a podcast player now.

I changed the name as you suggested. So now it is simply DR.
Fixed a lot of bugs on Bonanza and added radio section and search functionality
I will see if I can do some filtering on episodes of a show. They already have them in "collections", so it should be possible.
The only problem right now is the speed. Because of their design, I have to make a http request for each video item I want to show. Thats the only way I can get the url to the video stream. This makes it slow when loading a category with 50 video items.
Only had a bit of time this weekend, but I can confirm that the TV-2 plugin works from Australia. Nice to watch a bit of Danish TV again. Will test out the other ones through-out this week
I have plex 8 and installed both plugins i the right folders ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/plug-ins, i restarted both the media server and plex, but the plugins dosnøt show up in my menu, is it because of plex 8?
