Try out this plug-in.
It is only for DR NU, the new DR Video On Demand service, which serves content in MP4(h.264 and AAC) format.
It is very basic, but it works fine for me. Let me know if anyone find good use of the plug-in - then maybe I’ll work on it some more. Also, feel free to contribute.

Yeah, I know. But the main advantage is that it does not use Flash or Silverlight. Not using plug-ins such as these makes it a lot more crash proof. Also, it allows for hardware video decode and for direct iOS compatibility :) Let's hope that DR will introduce a similar API for Bonanza :)

The DR beta streams won’t play. Nothing happens - this is both with the low and high streams. If I cancel, Plex stops responding.

Anyway, I suddenly wasn't able to play any video, which is strange since it worked fine, when I uploaded the plugin, and you haven't changed the playback code).
I added
HTTP.Headers['User-agent'] = 'Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_7; en-us) AppleWebKit/534.16+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.3 Safari/533.19.4'
globally and now it works like a charm. I'm not sure, I know why - maybe due to some HTML5/video tag thing...
Scratch that. It still doesn’t work - I don’t know why…

plays nicely in Safari, but fails in Plex with a "ERROR, could not determine input format" message.

well it was buffering forever, but then apparently just stopped. No Error though!

It is very strange - it doesn't work for me. Not the "Oreflip" clip, not other clips.
In the log (Plex.log) it says the "ERROR: Open - error probing input format" - very strange. Wonder if it possible to force Plex to treat the stream as MP4 AAC/H.264?

I noticed something off in your code.
I believe you need to correct your "prefix handler"
I think it was:
VIDEO_PREFIX = "/video/Player"
I think this should be specific to your plugin, for example:
VIDEO_PREFIX = "/video/DRNU"

Well I don't have too much time, but if someone sends me pullrequest i'll happily integrate them; but remember the beauty of git(hub) is that anyone can fork it and maintain it if I get lazy ;)
I've had several problems replaying ...seems to be only certain streams...havent figured out why yet.
hmm - i see "/video/drnu" shouldnt that be enough ?
