At the moment there is a beta test ongoing.
Looks good so far and it's very fast compared to the 1.9.x version.
There are a few bugs and a non 100% finished skin but I think he is near to a release the 2.0 version. (We are at beta 23 and for me it's 10'000 times better than the old one; includes music)

in the I-have-a-dreambox.com forum, Don announced today that he wants to bring an open-Beta very soon (only one critical issue open) . I'll post the link as soon as it is available

Tried it out guys, its sees my NAS upon start up but when i try to connect to it comes up "Plex server seems to be offline, please check your settings or connection and retry"
If i hit yes i get nothing, but as soon as i hit no i get "Unexpected Error no xml as response"
If i go onto system then server and select my server i get "We are really sorry your system encountered a problem and needs to reboot"

Please note that this is still not the stable release. So feel free to try out the new version but keep in mind that there might be still bugs in DreamPlex. If you find a bug please post here a description of it so that i can track it down.
For this i need as much as possible information. There several box companies out there and tons of images. They could differ slightly. So please let me know the image, your box, installed version and also post the crashlogs of your boxes.
In addition to this i need the dreamplex log as well. you can send me this via email: dondavici@gmail.com. I will handle it with care :-)
The log file is written only if you enable debugging in the settings. Please note that debuging should only be activated for tracking down a bug. After sending me the file turn it off again because it is slowing down the whole plugin rapidly. This means that the speed of the plugin is not representative if debugging is turned ON. If you face problems with debugging at all or a setting is crashing your box a very first step is to connect to your boxes via telnet and type
init 4
after that change your settings in
/etc/enigma2/settings
Have fun trying out the very new DreamPlex 2.0 version. With your help there will be a stable very soon :-)

two possible solutions ...
first of all take care that you use a hd skin directly on your box not in my plugin.
second thing is to turn of overscan on your tv
